Why

We believe that renewable energy and recycling waste streams represent the biggest business opportunity of our time.

We also recognise that developing countries play an important role in that endeavour, representing a unique opportunity to improve the entire supply chain, generate value for all stakeholders and address social and environmental aspects.

Triple bottom line

Vastly underpaid farmers supplying multi-million-dollar profit companies is simply not sustainable. The consequence of such a model is not only severe poverty, it has far-reaching social and environmental impacts moving us even further away from sustainability.

The capitalist model needs to consider social and environmental costs from the entire supply chain. Only when we factor in and cover all these costs can we speak of genuine profit.

Port

We now have an important opportunity to put things right, both environmentally and socially, and we can only achieve maximum impact when we engage the entire supply chain and allow everyone to benefit. In other words, a balanced business approach.

What

We create, develop and execute renewable energy impact projects. We currently have a particular focus on:

01

PV (photovoltaic) projects in Japan

Acting as project developer with a particular focus on the PV site biomass management (trunks, branches, roots) and recycling into biomass energy, reducing methane emissions and coal consumption.

02

Certified sustainable white wood pellet projects in SE Asia

Support via equity investments and offtake agreements. SE Asia has abundant biomass resources, which can be cultivated sustainably and support coal replacement programmes and dedicated biomass power stations.

03

Recycle industrial agricultural waste streams into an environmentally sustainable replacement fuel for coal, a so-called “TG2 pellet™”,

Through a process of steam explosion, we are cleaning up SE Asia-based agricultural waste streams, such as coconut husks, rubber trees and empty fruit bunches (EFB), and turning these into a carbon neutral fuel replacement for coal, lowering coal consumption and reducing harmful methane and CO2 emissions.

04

Supporting a broad community-based ecological farming teaching programme

Using the tree species Gliricidia Sepium, we are teaching live fencing applications to reduce logging and benefit from a natural pesticide and inexpensive homemade organic fertilisers that replace expensive and dangerous chemicals, saving money and improving the local environment. The combined impact makes the programme eligible for carbon credits and meets a number of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

05

Supporting industrial plant conversions

Where we turn outdated and struggling industrial processes into modern-day value-added processes that are socially and environmentally sound.

How

Innovation, passion and resolve are the cornerstones of our approach. Solving problems creates value and committing to making an impact on the social and environmental supply chain creates sustainability.

01 light

We develop new technologies and processes that allow us to recycle waste streams into a valuable commodity while cleaning up pollution and reducing emissions.

02 light

We engage with farming communities, schools and government entities to support the supply chain and bring value to their processes.

03 light

We support the development of biodegradable plastics and applications that are eradicating use of oil-based plastics.

04 light

We pursue new renewable energy sources and energy generating technologies.

05 light

We support impact investing and triple bottom line focused businesses.

06 light

We practice and promote adoption of the UN’s SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

07 light

We advocate for proper compensation for social and environmental impact costs.

Where

We primarily focus on SE Asia where we see multiple opportunities for recycling agricultural waste streams and creating meaningful social, environmental and financial impact. Our primary offtake market is Japan.
